CPD in Stroke Rehab Support: Terms of Purchase

The terms and conditions set out below apply to your purchase of the self-study programme, “CPD in Stroke Rehab Support” offered by Victoria Jones T/A Tori’s. Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under law and set out the terms under which Victoria Jones provide services to you, as purchaser of the CPD in Stroke Rehab Support. These terms are subject to any rights you have under consumer law to which I am bound to and which cannot be waived.

Course Outline
The CPD in Stroke Rehab Support is a self-study course which has been developed for health, wellness and fitness professionals. This non-clinical award provides a structured, responsible way to support stroke survivors and their families in their ongoing rehabilitation journey, always within your professional scope and in alignment with clinical care.

Course Specifics
Following successful purchase of the bundle you will receive access to six modules of pre-recorded workshops, practical demonstrations and downloadable PDF worksheets.

You will have the opportunity to work through the course material in your own time. The course provides structured education, insight and practical strategies to help you support stroke survivors and their families responsibly and within your professional scope.

The course has been developed and tested with individuals who are over the age of 18 and from various health, fitness and wellbeing backgrounds. In working through the material they have been able to support stroke survivors and their families in non-clinical, community-based settings.

This is a personal course for you to complete entirely at your own speed. For best results it is recommended that you under-take each module separately and allow for a short period of reflection in between each module.

While the course is designed to equip you with knowledge, confidence and practical tools, individual outcomes will vary. Stroke recovery is complex and how you apply the learning will depend on your background, experience, engagement with the material and the context in which you work. It is therefore not possible to provide any guarantees that you will experience any specific results, outcomes or professional impact.

Failure to complete the self-study materials will limit your understanding of the material and reduce your ability to apply the learning safely and effectively in practice. The course is not bespoke and includes general non-clinical advice. Should you feel that you need additional support, monthly dedicated online group support sessions are available to attend.

This course does not qualify you as a clinical practitioner and does not replace physiotherapy, occupational therapy or speech and language therapy.

It is not intended that you will finish the course with a complete and detailed business plan. The CPD in Stroke Rehab Support provides education, strategies and frameworks that you may choose to integrate into your existing services, where appropriate and within your professional boundaries.

It is your individual responsibility to apply the learning appropriately to your own role, circumstances and scope of practice both during the course and afterwards. Each individual is unique and their starting position and commitment to the course is unique to them. The aim is that following completion of the course you will have increased understanding, practical tools and the confidence to contribute meaningfully, ethically and safely to stroke recovery in the community, alongside clinical care.

Please be aware that the course is delivered entirely in English and no translations are provided for videos or text.
